i have an Areg MK2 950CC pop plus i have put xr2 shocks on it front an rear i'd had to use you my top mounts as the xr2 ones didn't fit so i think it has mk1 suspenion mounts? any how the xr2 shoks have 35mm escort springs on an seem ok but the rear is not as again i used my top mounts an have standard xr2 springs which seem to have leveled the car out the only problem i hav noticed is there is sometimes a knocking sound from the rear when turning hard left or right an it is defo from the rear sounds like a spring clanning but everything seems to be in place as it was before i fooked about with it...... i'm still running standard steels til the weekend when i plan to put my 14"alloy back on but i need to sort this first

ANY HELP PLEASE

if you are using mk1 shocks then the front will be too high to start with.
the rears need 2 rubber bushes and a metal washer on each side Smile

they are supposed to be mk2 shocks off an xr2 but they wouldn't fit straight onthe front as top mounts wouldn't sit in the turret!!!!

Bump each corner up and down to see if its an individual shock.

easy way to check the front shocks for which mk, if they have an eyelet on for hooking the brake flexi pipe on, they are mk2, if not then mk1.

just check all the nuts n bolts on ARB and lower arms etc.
if its only under hard cornering then slow the f*ck down Wink
